How can I pay?

We use PayPal as our payment processor, so we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Or, you can pay using your PayPal balance.

Is your site secure?

Yes. You pay through PayPal, the world's premier electronic payment solution, not through this site. We never even see your credit card number; PayPal just tells us that you've paid and we ship you your stuff. We get your money through PayPal later.

Do I have to have a PayPal account to buy?

No, you can pay with your credit card without a PayPal account.

How do I avoid the shipping charge if I'm picking-up my leash or it's being delivered at a show?

You can use the coupon code " pickupoption " and it will deduct the $4.00 shipping charge.

What is the difference in "Heavy Duty" and "Medium Duty" leashes?

All Karate Belt Leashes are made from a good weight cotton belt fabric suitable for robust small, medium to extra-large dogs. Heavy-duty leashes have heavy solid brass or nickel 3 1/4" snap bolts that are suitable for dogs 40 lbs and up. Medium-duty leashes have medium weight 2 3/4" solid brass snaps that work best with robust small/medium dogs between 18 lbs and 60 lbs.

Will this leash work for my small, medium, large or extra-large dog?

The karate belts used to make these leashes will work for robust small, medium, large or large sized dogs. We offer medium-duty or heavy-duty brass hardware to accommodate dogs from 18 lbs to 200 lbs. I would think the leash is just too much for a super small dog unless it's robust like a Parson's Terrier.

What is the length of "traffic-length" leashes?

Traffic-length leashes are roughly 2 ft - 4 ft. Please give us your preference for length and we'll try our best to accomodate you. 

What is the length of "mid-length" leashes?

What is the length of "long length" leashes?

Long length leashes are roughly 6 ft - 8 ft.  Please give us your preference for length and we'll try our best to accomodate you. . 

Can I purchase a special length of Karate Leash?

We can supply leashes up to 10 feet long upon special request.  Just email me  with color, length desired and any other special requirements.  Please allow 2-3 weeks for special orders. 

What is the width of the karate leash?

Martial arts belts range from 1 1/2 inches to 2 inches so our leashes vary in width.  The width is enumerated on the description of each leash. 

Will the hardware rust?

We use solid brass or nickel over brass hardware so it will not rust or corrode.  The brass is treated to inhibit tarnishing.

Can I wash and dry my karate leash?

Your leash can be spot washed or washed in the washing machine.  That's one of the great features of this leash.  It will withstand the dryer but if you don't want to hear the snap banging around in your dryer you may consider hanging to dry.  These are recycled martial arts belts so they are already "worn" and comfortable to the hand but continued wear and washing will give them a well-worn look and feel.

Can I have my leash embroidered with my dog's name?

We offer embroidery for our Karate Belt Leashes in many different fonts.  Use your dog's name, your kennel name, an inspirational saying, etc.  There is an additional charge and 2-3 weeks turn-around time.  Embroidered leashes are machine washable.
